Join DREME affiliates and members for an interactive presentation on providing math learning opportunities.
Making More of Math: For Teachers by Teachers.
This interactive presentation aims to support participants in providing math learning opportunities throughout the school day while also contributing to children’s executive function development. Participants will learn about recent early childhood math research and how to engage in playful math with young children. Specifically, participants will learn how to use free resources on the Development and Research in Early Math Education (DREME) website. These include research-based math center and small group activities, and math activities that can be used during transitions and other routines throughout the school day. All activities were developed in partnership with early childhood teachers and the DREME network.
