Aleis Pugia

Aleis Pugia is a former DREME affiliate. She is currently completing her doctoral psychology internship at Cherokee Health Systems in Knoxville, TN. Cherokee Health Systems works with patients throughout Eastern Tennessee who have limited access to mental health services to make sure that they have high-quality, holistic healthcare. Aleis was a graduate research assistant at the University of Denver and was a member of DREME’s Making More of Math team. Her long-term career interests include working with underserved populations, trauma, assessment, and integrated care.
