Marisa Simoni
Marisa Simoni is a former DREME affiliate. She is now a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Primary Care and Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics at the Oregon Health and Science University. Marisa was a graduate research assistant at the University of Denver, where she earned a doctoral degree in school psychology. For the past four and a half years, Marisa has been working in public schools conducting assessments, intervention, and therapy. She was on DREME’s Making More of Math team, implementing different activities at pre-K schools in the greater Denver area. Marisa’s research interests include children with developmental disabilities (specifically those who are twice exceptional), working with marginalized students, and investigating transition services for post-secondary education and employment.
