Viviana Kawas

Viviana is an assistant researcher at NYU L-FELD (Latino Family Engagement and Language Development), a research team led by Dr. Gigliana Melzi and Dr. Adina Schick. She has participated in data collection using the LISn (Language Interaction Snapshot) assessment tool for language development in the preschool classroom, and in the development of a novel coding system for the analysis of narrative coherence in stories told by preschool children. Currently, she is an affiliate of the DREME Network Parents and Early Caregiver Engagement in Math project. Viviana holds a BA in literature and creative writing from New York University, Abu Dhabi.
