Graciela Borsato joined DREME as Managing Director and Senior Researcher in 2015. Previously, she was a senior research associate at Stanford's John W. Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities. Dr. Borsato's work focuses broadly on the examination of contextual factors that influence child development. She has extensive experience conducting mixed methods implementation studies of educational programs serving immigrant children and families.
Dr. Borsato graduated with the equivalent of a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina. After immigrating to the United States, she completed an MA in Experimental Psychology at San Jose State University and received a PhD in Education (Child and Adolescent Development concentration) from Stanford University.
