Graciela Borsato
Graciela Borsato joined DREME as Managing Director and Senior Researcher in 2015. Previously, she was a Senior Research Associate at Stanford’s John W. Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities. Dr. Borsato’s work spans diverse content areas, including early math education; families, schools, and communities; out-of-school time; and college and career readiness. Across her projects, Borsato brings expertise in mixed-methods implementation research and working with stakeholders to support strategic data use for decision-making.
At DREME, in addition to her role as Managing Director, Dr. Borsato oversees the design of early math educational resources and conducts research on preK-3 alignment and continuity of instruction, as part of the COHERE team.
Dr. Borsato graduated with the equivalent of a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina. After immigrating to the United States, she completed a master’s degree in Psychology at San Jose State University and received a PhD in Education (Child and Adolescent Development concentration) from Stanford University.
