Luke Rainey

Luke works on two DREME projects: Making More of Math and Preschool Through Elementary School Coherence. For COHERE, Luke is part of the team designing, implementing, and analyzing data for the project’s preschool-through-second grade classroom observation instrument. He also works as a senior research coordinator with the Department of Teaching and Learning at Peabody College at Vanderbilt University. He is interested in how policies, teacher practices, curriculum, and environment relate to equitable learning opportunities. Luke earned his master’s in education in learning and instruction from Vanderbilt, and his bachelor’s in political science from Eckerd College.
